Art Cologne

Art Cologne is the world's oldest art fair for modern and contemporary art, founded in 1967 in Cologne, Germany. Held annually in April at Koelnmesse, it brings together leading German and international galleries presenting works from the twentieth century to the present. Art Cologne played a foundational role in establishing the commercial art fair as a legitimate platform for contemporary art, and continues to be Germany's most important art market event and a cornerstone of European art commerce.
