Aki Sasamoto

Aki Sasamoto is a Japanese artist who was born in Yokohama and is based in New York. Sasamoto has collaborated with visual artists, musicians, choreographers, dancers, mathematicians and scholars. She is known for her installations utilizing found objects and the activation of installations through improvisational performances, from which Sasamoto explores the nuances and peculiarities of everyday life.
